Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2025

Overview

These terms govern your use of builtflow.agency and any services provided by BuiltFlow ("we", "us"). By using this site or hiring us, you agree to these terms. If something here isn't clear, email us at hello@builtflow.agency before proceeding.

Services

BuiltFlow provides workflow automation, systems integration, and related consulting services to businesses on a monthly subscription basis. The specific scope of work for each client is defined in a written proposal or agreement sent before work begins.

We reserve the right to decline any project that falls outside our area of expertise or that we aren't comfortable taking on. If that happens, we'll tell you promptly and won't charge you anything.

Payment

Monthly plans are billed at the start of each billing period. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date. We accept e-transfer and major credit cards.

If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause work until the account is current. We don't charge late fees for first-time delays, but we will for repeat instances.

All prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes (GST/HST) will be added to invoices based on your province.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your monthly plan at any time with 30 days' written notice. You won't be billed for the next period after your cancellation takes effect.

We don't offer refunds on completed work or for the current billing period. If you're unhappy with something we delivered, reach out and we'll do our best to fix it under the terms of your support window.

If we cancel on our end (which we'd only do for non-payment or a situation where we genuinely can't help you), we'll give you at least 14 days' notice and refund any prepaid amount for unused time.

What we build belongs to you

Any automations, integrations, or systems we build for you are yours. Once a project is paid in full, we transfer ownership of all work product to you. We may reference the general nature of the work (not client-specific details) in our portfolio or marketing, unless you ask us not to.

Your responsibilities

To do our job well, we need your cooperation. This means:

  • Giving us access to the tools and accounts we need to build your system
  • Responding to questions and review requests within a reasonable time
  • Not using systems we build for any illegal purpose
  • Letting us know promptly if something breaks or isn't working as expected

Limitation of liability

We build systems carefully and stand behind our work. That said, no automation is guaranteed to be error-free in every possible scenario. BuiltFlow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of systems we build, including data loss, business interruption, or revenue loss.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which BuiltFlow operates. Any disputes will be resolved in Canadian courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make material changes, we'll notify active clients by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after that point means you've accepted the updated terms.

Questions

If something here is unclear or you have a concern, reach out at hello@builtflow.agency. We'd rather talk it through than have a misunderstanding.
